The following is our district's policy regarding the Standing Order procedure involving transcripts:
Upon the filing of a case, or during any period in which a standing order does not exist, a firm may request a particular transcriber to enter a standing order in a case. This requires the transcriber to complete transcripts for any hearing held in that case for 14 days starting on the day of the request. Commonly, a standing order is renewed automatically by a transcriber, unless a firm requests that they cancel the order. The firm reserves the right to cancel a standing order at any time. If a dispute involving a request arises based on timing of requests, the first request received in our specified email inbox will assume the standing order, provided one does not exist in the case.
